Lack of Support for Homeless Vets

When vets return with PTSD and substance abuse issues, they face an overwhelmed VA system. One that makes it very difficult to get help. It results to an unprecedented number of homelessness.

Our U.S. veterans have suffered enough. At BASK, we understand that we can’t solve the bigger issue alone. But we can show vets we care with meals and a community of support and love.

The Meals for Vets Program

Bask will organize hot meals for our Bay Area homeless veterans and their families. These community gatherings is a showing of love and caring that empower these men and women to move towards hope and wellness.

We start with offering hot meals to our U.S. veterans quarterly. And with your support, we’ll have them monthly… or even weekly!

Simply show up to our next event. Check for location and date and time details. Please arrive an hour early.

I’ve always been on the sidelines – wanting to help vets but not knowing how. I’m glad there are organizations like Bask… that make small , but significant contributions. I’m finally able to support local vets in a meaningful way.
